AI Ecommerce Manager ("the app", "we", "us") is an application built for the Shopify platform. This policy explains what data we access, why, and how it's handled.

What we access

When you install the app, Shopify grants us read-only access to:

We do not request or use write access to your store's products, orders, customers, or discounts in the production app.

How we use it

We use this data solely to generate the daily insights, recommendations, and dollar-impact estimates shown inside the app. Calculations happen automatically and are shown only to authorized staff members of your store within the Shopify admin.

What we store

We store your shop's session credentials (so the app stays connected between visits) and a record of which recommendations you've marked as done or dismissed, so we can avoid repeating them unnecessarily. We do not store full copies of your product catalog, order history, or customer list outside of what's needed to compute and display current insights.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell or share your store's data with third parties. Data is not used for advertising, and we do not provide it to any analytics or marketing platform outside the operation of this app.

Data retention and deletion

If you uninstall the app, your store's session is removed. In line with Shopify's data protection requirements, we honor customer data request, customer redaction, and shop redaction requests submitted via Shopify's standard mandatory webhooks.

You can request details of what data we hold about your store, or request deletion, at any time by contacting us at support@aiecommercemanager.com.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
